I only share products I personally use and recommend to my friends. I currently use all of these recommendations daily.
New Testament ESV Journals: SO much room for taking notes! I use this for daily devotional time and include three steps. First, an initial reading and notes on first thoughts. Second, I add notes from the ESV study bible which stand out to me. Finally, I read from the commentary and add notes. See, SO much room for notes! Writing is critical for me to retain information.
Study Bible: I used this to read through the Bible in a year in 2017. I continue to reference it now as I go back through certain NT books slower and more in depth.
Commentary Series: To dig deeper, I have fallen for this commentary series! Personal, cultural, and insights on the Greek and Hebrew language – it isn’t one I would pick up based on cover alone so I am so thankful someone I trusted recommended it to me!
Journaling Bible: I’ve used this Bible for over 5-years. Room for notes, the leather smells wonderfully leathery, and I enjoy picking it up and taking it with me! I use this on Sundays for sermon notes and will refer to it when doing my daily Bible study if I recall a specific sermon.
Highlighters: I only use purple highlighters now… no particular reason other than I like it (and our yellow bedroom walls make it hard to see yellow highlighter). There is simply something more fun about using non-yellow highlighters, in my opinion!
